Giro delle Cime

Fancy experiencing the Dolomites - UNESCO World Heritage close up? Fancy something a bit special? Then let us recommend the „Giro delle Cime“ tour, the summit tour on skis. Take your skis on a journey of discovery and experience the beauty of the Dolomites, see the impressive corners of the UNESCO world heritage and enjoy the incomparable winter landscape. Selected stretches are crossed with the SALTO ski shuttle.

Free Fall Ride
Lots of adrenaline and exciting insights into the daily work at cable car and lift stations is offered to experienced piste athletes choosing the “Free Fall Ride” 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resort. Aaccompany technicians into the cockpit of a snow groomer on its evening ride, which provides almost exactly as much thrill on Italy’s steepest groomed slope as the descent itself. Once the slopes are prepared for the next day, you can head back to the valley by snow groomer.
Reindeer feeding

Italy’s only reindeer herd are the famous, local stars of the vast preserve at the Croda Rossa. Feeling homey in the wild nature of the 3 Zinnen in the Dolomites, the shaggy animals provide amusing and fascinating encounters, even on the ski slopes sometimes. The reindeer feeding at the Croda Rossa cable car mountain station is not only an unforgettable winter highlight for kids. Visitors may lend a helping hand when the smallest reindeer herd of the Alps gets its main course consisting of islandic moss, and mixed grain balls, “reindeer bonbons”, for dessert.

Night skiing & tobogganing
December 25th – March 15th 2019 | from 7 pm until 10 pm
Monte Baranci is bathed in floodlight from 7-10pm and the atmosphere is fit for a world cup, providing both superlative night skiing and sledging on run a 3km in length. The Rifugio Gigante Baranci mountain hut is open.
